• Fellow of the Center for Advanced Judaic Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. The fellowship program supports the work of an international group of twenty scholars each year to research a particular area of Judaic studies (April 2008)
• Milstein Research Award from the Center for Jewish Studies. This award recognizes those who conduct research on Jewish communal life and welfare organizations in New York. (July 2008)
