2012 Crown Print Finalists Chosen

The Columbia Scholastic Press Association has posted the list of finalists for its Crown Awards program for scholastic (middle, junior and senior high school) and collegiate publications at its official website.

A total of 1,351 print newspapers, magazines and yearbooks published during the 2010-2011 academic year were eligible in the 2012 Crown Awards program.

Since the CSPA dates its awards by the year in which they are given, this announcement concerns the 2012 Crown Awards.

The grand total of all Crowns to be presented in 2012 consists of 56 magazines, 56 newspapers and 92 yearbooks. Crown Award finalists are guaranteed to receive either a Gold or Silver Crown Award in March 2012. No further judging will take place. Scholastic and Collegiate Crown Awards are presented at separate ceremonies on two different days in March, 2012.
