Columbia Scholastic Press Association

CSPA has made arrangements with the indicated hotels to offer special group rates for the 85th annual Convention. These are not, however, considered the “official” hotels of the Convention. Contact the hotel of your choice directly. It is crucial that you identify yourself as a Columbia Scholastic Press Association Convention delegate when you make reservations. All rooms at all hotels are subject to a N.Y.C. hotel occupancy tax of $2.00 per room or $4.00 per suite/per night plus an additional 13.375% hotel tax.

* A note on taxes: Rates listed below all exclude taxes. School districts within New York State must provide a tax-exempt certificate. New York State law does not recognize tax exemption to public schools outside New York State. All private schools, however, should submit tax-exempt forms directly to hotels of their choice.

Cancellation policy for individual/group under 10 within 72 hours of arrival are subject to penalty charge of one night’s room and tax per canceled room. For 10 people or more, cancellation after two weeks prior to arrival are subject to cancellation charge equal to the full stay, and cancellation must be received in writing. There will be a $50.00 early check out fee assessed to guests who alter their departure date after Check-in at the Front Desk.
